The Household passes useless bills that pander to nutjobs who claim they speak for the American people despite the fact that they are a small digit of very loud nitwits.
@TheMastaCheef. A Death Metal song? Putting these lyrics with Slayer music, just doesn’t seem right. Headbanging to “I’m Just a Bill” with some stupid muted low E repetitive chord crap is an insult to Death Metal. Leave this for the kids to learn how our ridiculous system of government works.
Hey WH and Senate. This is how things are done. Not from 6 guys taking charge and doing a backroom deal. The Household just passed a bill Cut Cap & Balance. Now its your turn to look at it.
@MidnightGrunt Not really. The bill is only intended to affect persons who stream copyrighted content for profit. I highly doubt the uploader of this clip is making cash off it.
@legaleyesgreen I reckon that in today’s exponential world, this is pathetic. I know there are very powerful people who like the current system and will try to maintain it, but I hope that someday politics will evolve. (i.e. Range Voting)
We elect a few hundred, strongly influenced individuals (most of whom are career politicians), who are in session for 1/3 of the year to handle a system that is frequently pumped full of urgent new bills. There are so many bills that most of them are not even read before they are voted on. This system was designed when men traveled by horseback, had no telephones, and had no Internet.
@Gamefan113, according to a website called Popvox, a majority of people (approximately >90%) oppose the bill. But will persons opinions really win over our Congressmen to oppose the bill if it ever gets a vote?
No bills make any difference no matter what they are and/or if they get signed for every congressmen are criminals, and that goes for the President as well!!
What a wonderful process, of course, if its drug related you can just bypass all of that and make a substance illegal overnight.
@jan992004 It will make it illegal to post or stream copyrighted material on the internet.
Somehow I don’t reckon this makes it any less confusing for children to know legislative process.
@techbeast42 whats that?

Does anyone else reckon that the Rep. McCoy guy in this video looks like a young Mr. Morton?
I hope that the end upshot of this song and video is not the futrure of bill S.978. I want that bill to die.
