@Theyallfloatdownhere Oh please, I don’t need the 101 psychology, you know exactly what I meant by comparing UFO and religious belief and the propensity of the human mind, especially in more vulnerable conditions, to believe in such thoughts. The bottom line is there is zero credible evidence that space aliens are flying around in the earths atmosphere. If we deliberate all the rational or even non-rational explanations for such phenomena, its as far from Occam’s razor as doable.

@Theyallfloatdownhere No astronomy, or more accurately cosmology is enough. Unless you have an interest in particle physics of course. Which I might add is a far more fulfilling subject than ‘illumination in the sky’ fairy tales, much loved by the overly creative and desperately insightful human imagination to believe in ANY intelligence superior to our own. But do keep believing it’s space aliens if it gets you through the terrible times…

@marinvee Please provide the public with evidence. Blow the whole thing open. Then the ‘governments’ will have to confirm or deny whatever you reckon they reckon they know. All this illumination in the sky crap, puffed up by the media and it’s followers, is infinitely more likely atmospheric phenomena that space aliens…
The Universe is potentially full of life. But, none of it has visited earth. !0 minutes with an astronomy text book and a basic grasp of physics will tell you that. The distances are simply too vast to be covered by biological organisms. People like to believe UFO phenomena as it comforts them. A kind of religion if you will.
I believe, I just hope universal contact is made & humanity can go on from this & work togetther rather than for ones own country. When you look down at the earth from space you see a earth and land masses where human beings happen to live. You don’t see artificial lines, countries & states etc. I hope humanity evolves and moves forward in a positive direction while working for one another. I hope I live to see that but I doubt it. Maybe my children or grandchildren. I can only hope

Spelling error. I meant “flare”….Has anyone heard that these illumination were merely flares and have since been debunked as being a case of mistaken identity?
