Tell me about it. The Beltway Pundits are like a shadow political party, beholden to none & influencing all. I’ve heard the explanation of Access: not doing right investigation b/c then they’d be denied “access,” but I reckon it’s deeper than that. I reckon they see that they have power to shape the issues, and can’t do that if they investigate or challenge the politicians & corporate heads.
America could do with journalists like “WoodStien” (how they were both called as a kind nickname) today. Infact we could have done with journalists like persons two around the events of “911,” just imagine what they could have dug up. Journalists today are pathetic, they should really get out there and chase information, as a replacement for of sitting in the office all day, copying things off the “Net.”
